Introduction
I picked up some tesco value chicken drumsticks on the reduced aisle for 33p for a pack of 7, and really didn't know what to use them with. I came up with this, using a trial size pack of bbq powder by Schwartz. They were great served with chips (fries for you Americans!!).
Ingredients
7 Chicken Drumsticks
1/4 Cup Extra_Virgin_Olive_Oil
1 x 6g packet Schwartz Classic Barbecue Powder
2 Tablespoons Char Grilled Chicken Seasoning
Directions
Step: 1

Place the chicken in a shallow pan and pour the EVOO over the chicken.
Mix the spices together in a bowl and individually coat each drumstick.

Step: 2

Place in an oven dish and rest in the fridge over night.

Step: 3

Oven bake on 220C for 40 minutes or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked, and the juices run clear.

Menu suggestion

Chicken Drumsticks
Black bean and corn salad
Sliced tomatoes drizzled with olive oil
Apple Pie

Sounds good but I have two questions:

1) I have no clue (an probably all the non Britons are same way) what's Schwartz Classic Barbecue Powder or Char Grilled Chicken Seasoning. Do you have an idea of the spice mix in those packages?

2) Who gets three drumsticks and who gets two? ;-)

By the way, two drumstick per serving looks too few to me, unless this is part of a multi course meal.
Ciao, Guido
