| Introduction |
| A different way to serve lobster. Onion and lobster lovers must try this easy recipe.
Surprisingly this recipe will enhance the delicate flavor of lobster. |
| Ingredients |
| 2 medium whole lobster ( as usual fresh are much better)
2 onions
1 garlic_clove
1/2 cup white wine
1/4 cup brandy
4 oz butter
1 small can peeled tomatoes
1 bunch of parsley .
Sliced lemon and cucumber for garnish. |
| Directions |
| Step: 1 | Boil lobster in slightly salted water for 5 minutes.
Remove all the meat from the shell and dice in bite size pieces.
Set aside. |
| Step: 2 | Chop onion and garlic and sauté in butter over medium heat just until onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
Puree onion and garlic mixture in a blender or food processor. |
| Step: 3 | In a large casserole, sauté lobster with remaining butter for a minute, add brandy and flambé until alcohol evaporates (usually when the flame goes out). |
| Step: 4 | Drain and then chop tomatoes.
Chop parsley.
Add the onion cream back to the pan, add tomatoes and parsley and cook on medium heat for 2 minutes. Add the lobster and wine and cook for another 20 minutes, stirring from time to time.
Arrange on a serving dish and garnish with lemon and cucumber. |
