Introduction
My daughter Erica loves these meatballs .Add rice or mashed potatoes and a salad or green beans and you have a budget friendly meal that is sure to satisfy. I usually make a double recipe of the sauce and keep out a little for another meal. Simmer a chicken breast in it and yummmmm.
Ingredients
For The Meatball's
1 pound lean ground beef (can be half or all ground turkey)
3/4 cup crushed cheddar cheese crackers
1large egg
1/4 cup milk
Several grinds black pepper
1/2 Tsp onion_powder
1/4 tsp garlic_powder
1/2 Tsp sea_salt
1 Tbsp olive oil to fry meatballs
For The Sauce
1 Can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 soup can of water
1/2 soup can of milk
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp Kitchen_Bouquet , browning and seasoning sauce
1 8 oz can of sliced mushrooms (optional)
Pinch of sea_salt
Directions
Step: 1In a mixing bowl combine  cracker crumbs, egg, milk and seasonings. Mix well with a wooden spoon. Add ground beef or turkey and mix well.
With an ice cream scoop, scoop level scoops of the meat mixture onto a plate. Roll each ball until round and uniform.
Step: 2Heat the oil in a deep skillet with a lid, over medium high heat.
Add the meatballs, turning gently with a spoon to brown on all sides.
While meatballs are browning, in another bowl, combine sauce ingredients and whisk well to make a smooth sauce. Add drained mushrooms if using.
Pour soup mixture over meatballs. Bring to a simmer and cover. Simmer meatballs for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Uncover pan and cook another 10 minutes to thicken the sauce.

Meatballs can also baked, uncovered at 350 F for 30 minutes.
