My dear downstairs neighbor Beverly told me about this restaurant. Bev's late husband Michael Kelly was a bartender there for many years. and they became great friends with Steve the owner.
When Bev found out that Guido was coming she said he had to meet Steven because he was born in Italy.
Guido and I went in with Bev one afternoon for lunch and had some of the best Mexican food I have ever tasted. Try their Paella, filled with scallops, shrimp.and chicken. I was in heaven. Guido loved the Rellenos de Mariscos..A pair of fire-roasted Poblano (mild) chiles are filled with a seafood medley of lobster, shrimp, and clams, and laced with a creamy white clam sauce. Presented with crunchy sautéed vegetables and Cuban black beans.

The staff are super friendly and efficent. We sat on the patio and even though it was hot outside, we were very comfortable. Steven made Guido's visit so special with his warmth and hospitality. If you are new to this area or just have never been to La Paloma, you will be in for a wonderful time.

Tell Steve Guido and Kate sent you!
