This has 185 calories per 100ml, with 15.5g fat, 2.1g of which are saturates.

I only started seeing Miracle Whip in UK supermarkets around a year ago, and at 75p for a 500ml jar from Tesco, it’s a lot cheaper than my usual mayonnaise. Coupled with the fact that the jar boasts that it has “less fat than mayo,” I decided to buy this instead.

Miracle Whip has a very “salad cream” smell to it, but has a thick consistency, like mayonnaise. This, in my opinion, doesn’t have the peppery taste that I find mayonnaise usually has, but it does taste as creamy. I do like this, and I would definitely buy this again in future. The only thing is, it doesn’t seem to last very long. I brought this last month, and the expiry date is May 1st 2007.

Note: This is also available from “Lets Eat” and Lets Eat Direct” (a company which import foods from the USA) but the cost from there is £3.85.
