| I don't usually buy meal kits, I generally make my own sauces, but after seeing this on offer, I decided to try it. The box stated "Ready in 15 Minutes" and the packet contained 8 flour tortillas, 1 fajita spice blend, and 1 salsa sauce. I just needed to add 500g chicken breasts, 2 peppers and 1 onion. The box says that this serves 4. Each wrap (tortilla, sauce and spices) contains 144 calories, 2.2g sugar, 3.2g fat, 1.3g of which are saturates and 0.85g salt.
I found this really easy to make, but took about 30 minutes rather than 15, as stated on the pack. This wasn't too spicy at all, which was surprising because most Mexican food is pretty spicy. Usually my daughter doesn't like anything that is remotely spicy, or different to what she generally has! She loved this, and ate 1 1/2 wraps! I enjoyed this, and I would buy this again - at this offer. I can't see myself paying £2.99 per meal kit though. If there were 4 of us, I would serve double, as I believe that 2 wraps are not enought per adult. |
