This mix was 65p for a 150g box from Tesco in the Ethnic aisle.

This has 235 calories, 26.3g carbohydrate and 13.8g fat per 100g made up product.

I bought this to try as I'm looking for Indian-ish dishes for a church thing in a couple of weeks time. It looked interesting, and I though that at 65p I couldn't really go wrong.

The instructions to make the mix  are on the back of the packet, and are really easy to understand. All I needed to do was add water, leave to stand, then deep fry. I generally don't deep fry things, and don't own a deep fat fryer, so I used vegetable oil in a saucepan. It took a few attempts to get this right (operator error really!!), but when I did, I found that these are delicious! They're mildly spicy, and crunchy on the outside. The inside is soft and flavourful without being greasy. I would buy these again, and will be making them to take to the Indian night at church ;-)
