Salton YM9 Yogurt Maker

I bought this from www.amazon.com via the Yummyfoods link for $19.98, and had it delivered to Kate to send to me, as it worked out cheaper than having Amazon send it over to England. This has a white plastic casing with a white inner plastic pot to store the yogurt. The top of the lid has a little dial on, with numbers from 4-12. I'm not sure why it has this dial, as the dial doesn't actually do anything!! At first I thought it was a timer, but then I realised that it was seemingly useless really.

In the box there was also an instruction manual on how to make basic yogurt. I followed the directions exactly, leaving my yogurt to stand for 12 hours. It turned out perfect, very creamy and mild. I was quite impresed. Apart from the useless dial on the lid, I am pretty impressed with this product. It does exactly what it says on the box, and has simple, easy to follow directions on how to get yourself started making yogurt. I would recommend this to anyone, especially those trying to make yogurt for the first time.
