| I don't generally drink coffee that much at home, so I'm not too sure why I decided to buy this! The picture on Ebay looked nice, stainless steel and black, and as I had extra money in my Paypal account, I decided I was going to have it :-)
This coffee grinder grinds coffee beans, nuts, peppercorns and many other dry ingredients. It has a pulse button on the side, and a safety lid so that you don't slice your fingers off!
The first thing I decided to grind were some nuts for my Granola bars!! I went a bit overboard, and the nuts ended up like a paste. My second attempt was actual coffee beans, and with little effort, I managed to grind them perfectly. This coffee grinder is quite small and compact, lightweight and attractive looking. The stainless steel and black look professional and smart. To clean, you can only wipe the inside with a damp cloth, as it is all connected and so you cannot immerse this in water. I found cleaning this a bit of a problem because the blades were quite large. It did take quite a bit longer than I had predicted to be able to get this fully clean because the walls inside are black, and so I couldn't see the ground coffee to be able to clean it off, and also because I struggled to clean under the blades.
The cleaning aspect of this will probably put me off using this on a regular basis, and I will probably buy ground nuts in future, but as I don't drink coffee at home too often, I think I can put up with cleaning this only once a week or so! :-) |
